Why is the Smart Send Premium app for Shopify not showing in Shopify settings>Shipping & delivery>Manage rates>Carrier & app rates section in my store admin?

1. You must be on the Advanced Plan or higher to have the ‘Carrier Calculated Shipping’ option in your Shopify plan (which is required for 3rd party shipping apps that provide real time quotes at checkout). Our app won’t appear in the Shopify settings>Shipping & delivery>Manage rates>Carrier & app rates section in Shopify admin otherwise (see screenshot below of the area in question).
2. You recently downgraded or upgraded your Shopify plan. This can result in our app begin removed from the Shopify settings>Shipping & delivery section in your store admin and hence real time shipping quotes will stop appearing at checkout for your store.  To add the Smart Send Premium app back into the Shopify settings>Shipping & delivery>Manage rates>Carrier & app rates section, click on the ‘Add Rates’ button and then choose the ‘Use carrier or app to calculate rates’ radio button and then choose Smart Send Premium from the drop down menu and Save.  If our app is not showing in the drop down list, it means ‘Carrier Calculated Shipping’ isn’t on your Shopify plan (please contact Shopify Support and get them to add it to your plan).  Then follow these steps again to choose the Smart Send Premium app and Save.
3. If you had the Smart Send Premium app installed before you asked Shopify Support to add ‘Carrier Calculated Shipping’ to your Shopify plan (i.e. if you aren’t already on the Advanced plan or higher plan) then you need to uninstall the Smart Send Premium app and wait until Shopify Support have added the Carrier Calculated Shipping to your Shopify plan. Once they have confirmed this has been done, then reinstall our app and it should appear in the Shopify settings>Shipping & delivery>Manage rates>Carrier & app rates section & real time shipping quotes can be returned at checkout.
